Christmas Pictures

Here are this years Chirstmas pictures!  The kids did  a terrific job getting them done considering the time we were scheduled was so close to afternoon nap!  Keaton loved when the photographers waved a flower in front of his face and made silly noises. He put on his best smile!  Sophie did everything the photographers asked (except plant a kiss on her baby brother...).  I think the pictures speak for themselves!

So after spending too much money on pictures, I decided to take some photos at home because the kids were all dressed up and our tree was just decorated the day before. Of course by the time we made it home, Keaton had fallen asleep, so I decided that if I couldn't do both then I would at least try for one and made Sophie sit in front of the tree.  Now I would like to take a minute to remind everyone of our last home photo shoot with Sophie.  She was about 7 months old and well..I will let the pictures speak for themselves,
So definitely not our best effort...fast forward almost two years and ....

I am so thankful for trained photographers!!!
                                                                           Until next time!

Half a Year?!?!?

It's officially been over 5 months since my last update!? To say things have been busy would be an understatement, but this past week has been a nice break and change of pace.  Both Andy and I are on vacation this week and we have been enjoying taking it slow.  As for Sophie and Keaton, they never seem to take it slow and have spent the past week loving playing with their new toys.  (At least Santa must have thought they were good this year!)  Here are some pictures to catch you up to where we are today.

First, our fall trip to Leader's Farm: The kids had so much fun in the hay and sandbox full of corn!

Here are our two baby Smurfs on Halloween!
Keaton and I are trying to stay warm waiting for the Toledo Christmas Parade!

LIGHTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS at the TOLEDO ZOO!! Soph couldn't get enough of  the lights choreographed to Christmas music!

Sophie's First Gingerbread House! Not sure who ate more candy her or her daddy!
I can't help but smile comparing the pictures of July to today! Sophie and Keaton continue to grow day by day!  Secretly I wish they could stay small forever!

Sophie's First Art Project!

Today we decided to take a break from "Dora and Boots" and be crafty during Keaton's nap time.  Here are the results.

Cookie Cutter Painting! So cute, and she was able to work on this pretty independently!

Hand print fireworks! A little more help required, but it turned out perfect!  I have decided to keep a photobook of all the kids' arts and crafts as opposed to keeping every piece, but I think I may just have to frame these and love them forever!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!

Happy Fourth of July! Here are the babies all dressed up in red, white and blue.
Happy Fourth of July!

You can only imagine how difficult it is to get her to sit still long enough to take one picture, imagine trying for multiple!

Don't mind the excessive amount of baby drool in this picture :o)

Not so happy about this!

Sophie kept trying to take his flag!!

                                                                             God Bless America!

Together is Better

It has been so much fun to watch Keaton and Sophie develop a relationship.  Sophie just has to hug, carry, pat, kiss, tickle, or talk to Keaton every time she sees him.  "Hi, Brudder", "How are you, brudder", "You okay, Keat Keat?", and "Bless you, baby" are some of her favorite conversation starters :o).  With Keaton being more alert, he can't take his eyes off of Sophie.  He watches her every move, like he wants to be up and playing with her! Andy and I can't get enough and can't seem to take our eyes off of them when they are together. (Note here: It's so much more than the fact that if we do turn away even for a second Sophie may try to pick him up and carry him across the room, color on him or do something else to unintentionally inflict pain on her poor baby brother.) It's amazing to see them form the bond that only a sister and brother can have. Here are some pictures of them in action as a pair.

Holding baby Keaton for the first time!

Bath Time! (I am sure they will both thank us for this one day!)

Talking about how they can get in trouble next!

Sibling L-O-V-E!
                                                              Until our next adventure!

What Has Keaton Been Up To...?

Keaton is growing just as fast if not faster than Sophie!  His biggest accomplishment- HE IS NOW SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT! He has also began smiling and showing his excitement when anyone comes near (yes, even his big sister!) by moving his legs and arms as fast as he can.  Here are some pictures of what he has been up to.

First let me just take you back for a minute...

Do you remember when he was this small?!?  This was the day we took him home from the hospital.  We teased that this was his "bulldog" face.

Here he is today!  (Oh, how the time has flown!)

Keaton loves being held and cuddled.  Even though this picture is with daddy, it's my favorite thing to do too!
Here is Keaton with his great grandpa, grandpa and dad! 4 generations of Schultz's!

One of his first and best smiles to date!

It just seems like yesterday that we were wondering what life would bring with two babies. Now I couldn't imagine it without both of them!

What Has Sophie Been Up To...??

Today Andy told me that he LOVES that Sophie is almost 2. For the most part I can agree! Here are some pictures of what "The Big Girl" has been up to lately.
She has been playing with her toys,

taking rides around town in her wagon,

feeding the animals with Daddy, and riding (over and over AND OVER again) in the "choo, choo" at the church festival,

and playing in the sun (very stylishly I might add in her pink polka dotted sunglasses and yogurt mustache)!

SEE YOU NEXT TIME!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year!

 Sophie loved coloring eggs.

Keaton watched her from his new favorite location: his swing!
The Easter Bunny brought both kids lots of goodies.

Keaton is still a little too young to really enjoy his basket, but Sophie loved hers! Her favorite thing? DORA FRUIT SNACKS of course!

Hunting for eggs is fun, but she enjoyed eating the candy inside the best!
Happy Easter!
