Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year!

 Sophie loved coloring eggs.

Keaton watched her from his new favorite location: his swing!
The Easter Bunny brought both kids lots of goodies.

Keaton is still a little too young to really enjoy his basket, but Sophie loved hers! Her favorite thing? DORA FRUIT SNACKS of course!

Hunting for eggs is fun, but she enjoyed eating the candy inside the best!
Happy Easter!

Picture Day

On Thursday April 21st, we went to get updated pictures done professionally of both kids.
Here is how our day started off...

Keaton was not happy about having to wear a sweater vest..AND

Sophie decided that giving herself a black eye and bruised cheek with momma's eyeliner and blush (only applied to one side) would make the best pictures.

LESSON number 1,050- ONLY SCHEDULE PICTURE DAY FOR ANDY's DAY OFF from now until the kids are at least 16 :o)

Once we made it to the door, loaded in the car and to the picture studio, here is how our pictures turned out.

WELCOME!

Welcome to our NEW blog! You may be wondering why the move?!  We are excited to announce that we have a new addition to our family! Keaton Russell Schultz.
Because we wanted to preserve the memories of our time before Keaton (Andy affectionately calls it the BK era) and because Keaton has completely transformed our lives (in the best of ways of course!)  we decided to create a new blog that will grow with us!
Enough about our new blog, lets talk about the new baby!  Keaton Russell Schultz was born March 21st at 8:55 in the morning.  (He was a week and a half early!)  He weighed a healthy 8lbs, 4 oz. and measured an impressive 21inches long!  ( Did I mention I am very thankful that he was a week and a half early??)  As with most activities, you improve with experience.  The same can be said with his labor and delivery. (I directly mean that Andy sat down in a chair next to me to avoid any incidence of lost consciousness, and we succeeded!)  Andy was able to cut the umbilical cord and we were able to welcome Keaton into the world. The hospital has a new policy of laying the baby with the mom for bonding for the first hour after birth! Can I just tell you that this is the best thing ever!!!
I know what you are thinking- "But Wait!!  What about Sophie?!?"
We have been home for about three weeks now and everyone is adjusting very well! Sophie loves her new "brudder".  In fact, I witness them in this position at least 100x a day!
This has become our new life, and I am in love with it!  Please check back frequently for updates and pictures!
 As always...See you soon!
